Connect to PCN shared directories and ITaP home directories

This article demonstrates how to connect to PCN shared directories (eg: Gutenberg samba mounts and ITaP home directories) from a Mac.

  1. Go to the Finder
  2. From the Go menu, choose Connect To Server
  3. Connect to smb://gutenberg.physics.purdue.edu for PCN Shared Directories

or smb://rosetta.ics.purdue.edu for your ITaP home directory

  2. When entering your username/password, use the format ONEPURDUE\username along with your password as shown below.
    NOTE: ONEPURDUE\ must be in front of your username and it must be typed in all capital letters.
  3. Choose your share that you want to mount
