====== Connect to PCN shared directories and ITaP home directories ======

** This article demonstrates how to connect to PCN shared directories (eg: Gutenberg samba mounts and ITaP home directories) from a Mac.**

  - Go to the **Finder**\\ {{:wiki:software:macintosh_systems:mac_smb_1.png|}}
  - From the **Go** menu, choose **Connect To Server**
  - Connect to **smb:%%//%%gutenberg.physics.purdue.edu** for PCN Shared Directories 
  or **smb:%%//%%rosetta.ics.purdue.edu** for your ITaP home directory

  - When entering your username/password, use the format **ONEPURDUE\username** along with your password as shown below.\\ **NOTE: ONEPURDUE\ must be in front of your username and it must be typed in all capital letters.**\\ {{:wiki:software:macintosh_systems:mac_smb_3.png|}}
  - Choose your share that you want to mount\\
