====== Setting Up Email in Evolution ======

===== Purdue Exchange Mail Users =====

To connect to Exchange: 
  - Open Evolution
  - If prompted, select **Yes** you would like to configure an email account. If you are not prompted: Select Edit > Preferences > Mail Accounts
  - Select **Add** on the right pane, click **Forward**
  - Enter your Name and Email address (which should be: [your username]@purdue.edu)
  - select Account Type: >> **IMAP**
  - Enter Server: >> **ova.purdue.edu**
  - Enter your username
  - Select **TLS** Encryption under Security
  - Select **Password** Authentication Type
  - Click **Forward**
  - Adjust Receiving options to your preference, and click **Forward**
  - Select Server Type **SMTP**
  - Enter Server >> **smtp.purdue.edu**
  - **Check** Server Requires Authentication
  - Select **SSL** Encryption under Security
  - Authentication >> **PLAIN**
  - Click **Forward**
  - Name the Account and you are finished.


===== Mailhub (Webmail) Users =====

To connect to Mailhub: 
  - Open Evolution
  - If prompted, select **Yes** you would like to configure an email account. If you are not prompted: Select Edit > Preferences > Mail Accounts
  - Select **Add** on the right pane, click **Forward**
  - Enter your Name and Email address (which should be: [your username]@purdue.edu)
  - select Account Type: >> **IMAP**
  - Enter Server: >> **mymail.purdue.edu**
  - Enter your username
  - Select **SSL** Encryption under Security
  - Select **Password** Authentication Type
  - Click **Forward**
  - Adjust Receiving options to your preference, and click **Forward**
  - Select Server Type **SMTP**
  - Enter Server >> **smtp.purdue.edu**
  - **Check** Server Requires Authentication
  - Select **SSL** Encryption under Security
  - Authentication >> **PLAIN**
  - Click **Forward**
  - Name the Account and you are finished.
