How to Register:
Only participants who have been invited to attend this workshop by the International Advisory Committee or the working group leaders can register. There are two steps in the registration process:
(1)Register with the workshop secretariat. Complete this form online.
(2)Print off and complete the accommodation reservation form and either send it or fax it to the Homestead. Alternatively, you can avoid the form if you telephone the hotel directly.
The registration fee is $100 and should be paid directly to the Homestead.
Information on accommodation:
The workshop starts at 9 a.m. on Friday June 16, and ends after lunch on Sunday June 18. A special package has been negotiated with the Homestead, this include three nights accommodation Thursday June 15 through Saturday Jun 17. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included on Friday, and Saturday. Breakfast and lunch are included on Sunday. The cost is $526 per participant.
If you are bringing a spouse and /or children accommodation for the spouse and children is free as long as they share the same room as you. A meal package may be purchased for $46/day.
Information on travel:
Participants should plan to arrive at the Homestead by Thursday evening, June 15. Note the accommodation package does not include a meal on Thursday because participants will be arriving at widely varying times.
The Homestead is about 30 miles from Traverse City. Traverse City is a small but busy airport served by American Airlines and United Airlines from Chicago O'Hare and North West Airlines from Detroit. The workshop is at the beginning of the high season, and so it is advisable to book your flights as soon as possible. The TC Cab and Van Service will be providing a shuttle from the Traverse City airport to the Homestead and return back to the Traverse City airport. The drive takes about 40 minutes.
